There is an old Zulu phrase “Wathinta abafazi wathinta imbhokodo” that can be roughly being translated in English to “you strike a woman, you strike a rock!”. The phrase means; a woman is very unmovable person, a person with lots of soul and a desire to conquer the world.
The day came when a lioness rose up against the cruel challenge that life brought to her (i.e. Death of a family member). The lioness took change instead of being led. It leaded other lions with dignity and command. It became clear a lioness was no longer baby lion but a fully grown lion. The lioness rose tall while the base/ground was not solid.
The greatest indicator of the success of the lioness was the jealousy written in other lions. Other lions couldn’t believe the strength and desire to succeed of this lioness. They struggled to understand the source of the lioness strength. They tried to look for the weaknesses to take it down, but there were none. The writing was there for everyone to see, that the lioness has risen above everyone else and the challenge itself.
The lioness showed an amazing strength during her roar. The roar was solid and it clearly came from the heart. One of the lions started to tumble in disbelief. The lion had thought the challenger of roaring in front of the lions might break the lioness but the opposite was true. A pure voice was suddenly embraced by the rest of the lions, the rest history.
After everything had been done, the lioness stayed behind to ensure the after-match was managed accordingly. It risked being terrorized by the Rangers of the land. There were lot of challenges that made the situation tense but the strength and the never give-up attitude allowed the lioness to see all the tasks were carried out successfully.
It gives a great pleasure to know the lioness. The lioness presence is dearly missed in its absence. The life losses its meaning…. (i.e. happiness).
